MORE THAN A CHURCH
Located along the St. Lawrence River in Quebec, the St. Lawrence Valley Anglican Ministry is not just a church, but a united federation of Anglican communities. We stand on the traditional territories of the Huron-Wendat, Abanaki, and Innu peoples. Inspired by the call to be "repairers of the breach" and "restorers of streets to live in" as articulated in Isaiah 58:12, we are committed to reconciling our past and building bridges through our faith, with our neighbors and the land.
Our mission is multi-faceted—uniting unique strengths from multiple congregations to deepen our collective understanding of our role within the Creator’s world. Through worship services, educational programs, and community projects, we aim for restoration, inclusivity, and spiritual growth.
With worship points across and beyond the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec, each location offers a distinct community atmosphere. Join us as we strive to fulfill the vision set forth in Isaiah 58:12, deepening our relationships with God and the world God loves.
"The Church of Christ in every age
Beset by change but Spirit led,
Must claim and test its heritage
And keep on rising from the dead."
Fred Pratt Green, Common Praise #584
